Dynamic Fuse

The Dynamic Fuse feature in AMPiiN Core allows customers to set temporary household power limits during specific time periods. This is particularly useful for energy tariffs that penalise high consumption during peak hours.

Within the AMPiiN app, customers define the time windows and the maximum allowable property load. During these periods, AMPiiN Core actively monitors total household power usage and ensures that charging remains disabled whenever the limit is reached or exceeded. This helps prevent costly tariff penalties and keeps energy usage within the desired threshold.

If the property surpasses the configured limit, AMPiiN Core immediately sends a notification, alerting the customer that the threshold has been exceeded even though EV charging is disabled.
